GoodSAM's New Day Organic Coffee Beans are sourced from the indigenous tribes in Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia. The coffee is grown on sacred ground at an altitude of 4,340 feet. Tasting Notes: Dark Cocoa, Toffee, Roasted Nuts.
The bag says medium roast but it brews up with a real depth that surprised me—smooth with no bitter bite, even black. I grind it each morning and the aroma alone makes the whole kitchen feel like a slower start to the day.
Finally, a medium roast that actually tastes like the altitude it's grown at — bright but not acidic, with that earthy sweetness you only get from mountain-grown beans. I ground a batch for my morning pour-over and the aroma alone made me slow down and enjoy the ritual again.
